Caribbean cruise prize is like a dream, says Gasnel Straker
Gasnel Straker and a lucky friend will soon be heading to the open seas for an all expense paid Caribbean cruise compliments Digicel and their âSpell and Winâ promotion.{{more}}
Straker, who last Tuesday visited Digicelâs offices in the Lewis Building on James Street, is one of many weekly prize winners in the promotion which began on November 18, 2011, and ends on January 31, 2012.
Straker, who was entered in the draw by paying his bill on time, said that he is very happy to have won the cruise, as coincidentally he was planning to take a cruise this year and knows that it costs a lot of money to do so.
âI have been with Digicel a long time and now they have made my dreams come true because winning something like this is like a dreamâ, said Straker.
He added: âThis is fancy and expensive, so I feel real excited. I was planning to go later on this year, and it would have cost me, so I am glad that I am now able to save that money.â
The happy gentleman said that he has his eyes set on destinations like Puerto Rico, St. Maarten and Jamaica.
He says of Digicel: âI think they are the bigger better network because they reward their customers in a real wayâ.
Straker revealed that in 2010, he was also rewarded EC$1,000 as part of Digicelâs loyalty program.
He is the second to last winner in Digicelâs âSpell and Winâ weekly promotion. The final winner will take home a 42 inch television from Singer.
Spell and Win is part of Digicelâs Christmas promotion which offers all Digicel subscribers both prepaid and post-paid a chance to win over $250,000 in credit and prizes including EC$70,000 cash. Apart from weekly prizes, seven persons will be eligible to win cash prizes up to EC$100,000 during the promotion period (November 18, 2011 to January 31, 2012).
Prepaid customers can win daily and weekly prizes by topping up EC$15 or more. For every top up of $15 or more, customers automatically qualify for the daily prize of free credit as well as weekly prizes. So far, persons have won US$500 shopping sprees compliments Aeropost and a living room set (Singer), among other prizes.
For every top up of $15 or more, customers will receive a letter from the word âD-I-G-I-C-E-Lâ through a text message. Customers must collect all 7 letters to spell the word âDIGICEL,â and he/she will automatically qualify for the grand prize draw where they will win huge amounts of cash.
