Burglars steal 500 lb vault from KFC

Local police say they do not yet have any solid leads in relation to a burglary that took place at the Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC) branch at Arnos Vale last weekend.{{more}}

SEARCHLIGHT understands that the burglar(s) entered the building at around 3:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 21 and stole a vault weighing 500 pounds, which police said contained more than $20,000.

At press time, Criminal Investigations Department (CID) head Elton Jackson said investigations are continuing into the matter.
