Parnell Campbell is featured lecturer at SVGCC

Queen’s Counsel Parnell Cambell will be the featured lecturer in a lecture hosted by the St Vincent and the Grenadines Community College (SVGCC), in collaboration with the Bank of St Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}

The lecture, which will take place tomorrow evening, is titled: “The Participation of Citizens in Governance: Myth vs. Reality”.

Campbell’s lecture will be the first in a series of lectures planned by the SVGCC for 2012 under the theme, “Civic Responsibility: Forging Good Citizens”. This theme was chosen in recognition of the importance of the role a nation’s citizens play in its development and sustainability.

Last year, the theme of the SVGCC lecture series was “Education: the Gateway”.

The lecture takes place at the Peace Memorial Hall on Wednesday, January 25, 2012, commencing at 8:00 p.m.
