23-year-old nursing gunshot wounds at ICU, MCMH
One man is in the Intensive Care Unit of the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital, nursing bullet wounds he sustained over the weekend.{{more}}
Said to be in a critical but stable condition is 23-year-old Austin McDowall, after being shot three times in the early hours of Sunday, January 22.
Just after midnight, the Murrayâs Village resident was shot by an unknown assailant or assailants, not too far from his home.
The injured man, who was shot in his stomach and leg was able to make his way to the home of a resident in the area, who alerted police of the incident.
Police came to the scene and took McDowall, who is known to them, and was recently released from Her Majestyâs Prison, to the hospital.
Up to press time yesterday evening, police were investigating the incident.
