NCCP condemns killing of 19-year-old mother
The National Commission on Crime Prevention has condemned the killing of 19-year-old mother of three Alvisha Browne, which took place at Ottley Hall, on Wednesday, January 4.{{more}}
The NCCP said they join with the Urban League Organization of Ottley Hall and Edinboro in encouraging residents of the community to work together to stamp out crime and violence from the community.
âOur thoughts and condolences are with her family and friends at this time. The NCCP continues to abhor unwarranted and frightening acts against humanity,â a release from the NCCP said.
âWe ask persons to be tolerant of each otherâs views because when it comes down to it, weâre all here because of our desire to exist. And since the other person exists, he probably knows a thing or two about staying alive too.â
The release said, âWe are hopeful that the initiatives employed by the authorities, private citizens, and the NCCP to stem the wave of crime will bear results in the shortest possible time to restore the peace and tranquility in this country.â
