O’Connor wins big in SVGBC’s 100 lights of Christmas promotion

Philroy O’Connor proved to be an expert at the matching game as he walked away with a plethora of prizes at the finals of the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Broadcasting Corporations 100 lights of Christmas promotion.{{more}}

The final round of the competition took place on Thursday, December 22, 2011, at the Chamber of Commerce conference room. O’Connor went up against Khadijah Cyrus and Carlene Jackman to win prizes by matching lights. The three finalists also had an opportunity to win two Jackpot prizes.

Within a few minutes into the finals, O’Connor had won one of the Jackpot prizes which included a Nokia E5 Phone, Free Cable for two months from Karib Cable, a Ham compliments Lulleys fishing, a drinks hamper from LOG enterprises, Liquor from Gonsalves Liquors ltd and a 40 per cent discount from SVG Jewelry Store. O’Connor also walked away with several other prizes.

Second place in the competition went to Khadijah Cyrus who won an Echoes jewelry voucher, gift hamper and drinks from St. Vincent Brewery, among others.

Third place Carlene Jackman won prizes, including gift vouchers and drinks.

The 100 lights of Christmas promotion, which was launched in early December, saw contestants matching lights in order to pair prizes. Prizes were attached to the lights, numbered 1 to 100. Contestants had to match lights correctly in order to win prizes.
