Boucher preformed some of her well known hits along with Christmas songs, much to the delight of the more than 200 children and their parents who were present at Nantonâs Langley Park, Georgetown home, on Sunday December 17.
2011 Road March Champion GAO, along with Magician Ton and of course, Santa Claus, were also in attendance to bring cheer and entertainment to the children who were given gifts donated by a number of sponsors.
One week earlier, on Sunday December 11, the Aunty G Charitable Childrenâs Organization, held its first ever Family Fun Day at the Chilli Playing Field in Georgetown, which saw children winning prizes including a ham and bicycle. A town versus country football match between Aunty Gâs Rodox and Breakaway Masters was also played.
That time around, calypsonian Gao played the role of Santa and performed a sanitized version of his 2011 road march song.
According to Nanton, the Family Fun Day is slated to be an annual affair, and she and her team look forward to many more Christmas bashes.
Nanton thanked all those who were responsible for making both events successful.
