Monique Letteen told SEARCHLIGHT by telephone on Friday, December 9, that her 18-year-old daughter Alisha Dublin had been found safe and unharmed. Letteen, who stated she was happy that Dublin had been found alive, disclosed that she was found on Tuesday, December 6, in Byera, after family and police traveled to the village and conducted a search. Dublin went missing on November 27, 2011.

Letteen stated that she was found at a friend’s home, but she refused to come back. She added that police informed her that Dublin was at the age of consent and therefore, could not be forced to return home.

Letteen, however, remains grateful that her daughter is alive and stated that her relatives have since interacted with Dublin by telephone.

Meanwhile, Vernon John of Collins told SEARCHLIGHT by telephone on Friday, December 6 that his 14-year-old daughter Shasta John had been found alive and unharmed.

In the Tuesday, December 6 edition of SEARCHLIGHT, John stated that Shasta had left his home on December 4. John related that at around 8:55 pm his daughter told him that she was experiencing her menstrual cycle and was in need of sanitary napkins. John left and went to a shop nearby, returning home to find Shasta gone.
