Venezuelan Embassy host International Seminar
The Third International Seminar on Africa, the Caribbean and Latin America will take place in St. Vincent and the Grenadines on November 25, and 26, 2011.{{more}}
The Seminar will be hosted by the Venezuelan Embassy.
Speaking about the seminar during a press conference at the Embassy on Tuesday, November 22, 2011, Ambassado Yoel Perez Marcano stated that the seminar will see the participation of several countries namely Puerto Rico, Honduras, Dominica, Barbados, Venezuela and St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The seminar will contribute to the Latin Americas and the Caribbeanâs ongoing understanding for the need for unity among the Caribbean people, the Ambassador said.
Proposals will also be directed towards the development of the nations and a creation of a region unified, strong and mighty in its efforts.
The topics to be addressed at the seminar include The Afro-descendants, Syncretism and Origin in Latin America and the Caribbean, Political Crisis in the Middle East and the North of Africa and its worldwide impact, the Perspective of the construction of the Community States of Latin America and the Caribbean and the Integration and Decolonization in the Caribbean.
The Seminar will be held at the Venezuelan Institute for Culture and Cooperation at the Embassy of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela at Murrayâs Road, Kingstown.
