Mespo SDA to hold annual rally

The youth of the Mesopotamia Seventh Day Adventist Church will be joined by parents and supporters from all segments of the Marriaqua community in a Street March and Rally to be held on Saturday, November 26, 2011, from 3:30 p.m.{{more}}

The program is planned to promote the prevention of substance abuse, alcoholism, crime and violence and HIV/AIDS.

The march will commence at the Mesopotamia “Dry River” Junction and proceed through the Mesopotamia Street; participants will then assemble at the Bacchus Bridge for a Rally.

This event is a part of the church’s annual Community Services outreach program.

Victor Roach of the National Commission for the Prevention of Alcoholism and Drug Dependency (NCPADD) of Barbados is our featured speaker. The Parliamentary Representative for the Marriaqua Constituency, Girlyn Miguel, has been invited to make brief remarks.
