6 win hampers as Super J IGA Supermarkets unveil

The Super J IGA Supermarkets (Arnos Vale and Stoney Ground) were officially launched on the weekend, and already customers are reaping the rewards of shopping at the Arnos Vale and Stoney Ground stores (formerly Aunt Jobe’s).{{more}} There were smiles on the faces of Ronel Kirby, John Leung, Carol Douglas, Kelville Solomon, Philita Durham and Deon Edwards as they collected their $200 hampers filled with IGA brand products (including cereals, pasta, drink mixes, cookies and condiments). The six were among hundreds of customers who qualified to win hampers, as they spent fifty dollars or more and used their Points Plus Loyalty card.

All customers shopping at the two supermarkets were treated to giveaways of pens, reusable bags, and water bottles, as well as samples of IGA and many other brands of products and money saving specials on popular household items. The Sion Hill Euphonium Steel Orchestra and a popular DJ provided entertainment for the many who came to see what Super J IGA supermarkets had to offer.

Elsa Lionel, the company’s Marketing Associate, says this is the start of what is expected to be a great relationship between Super J IGA supermarkets and Vincentian customers.

“Customers were very pleased with the layout of the stores, the variety which was on offer and the ease with which they were able to sign up for our Loyalty card. We will have money saving specials on every week and we will continue sampling of the IGA brand of products this weekend,” Lionel said.

Lionel encourages customers to sign up for the Points Plus Loyalty card to be able to take advantage of the weekly money saving specials and participate in the many promotions to be unveiled shortly, including the Super J IGA Grand Christmas promotion starting on November 7.
