Prior to its anniversary celebrations, TIRL SVG joined TIRL Trinidad in celebrating Republic Day with a number of activities including an exhibition at the national library in Port-of-Spain, a lecture at the University of the West Indies St. Augustine campus and a special church service at the Thusia Seventh Day Adventist Church in Morvant.

Executive Director of TIRL SVG, Jeanell James was in attendance and described the experience as “a great privilege to be a part of the advancement of the Doctrine of Rights and Freedoms in another country.”

TIRL is a non-profit organization dedicated to giving Rights Education to all.

“We thank you for all your support and encouragement and also take this opportunity to wish all Vincentians a blessed and rights-friendly Independence 2011,” the release said.
