NCCP to host a Peace Support March, Rally

The National Commission on Crime Prevention (NCCP) will this Sunday, October 9, host a Peace Support March and Rally in response to the latest incidents of violence on the Leeward side of the island.{{more}}

The March will begin at 4:00 pm at the Campden Park Bridge, travelling through Coconut Range and then on to the Campden Park Wesleyan Holiness Church, where the Rally will then take place.

The March and Rally is an initiative of the NCCP, the Royal St. Vincent and the Grenadines Police Force, Community groups and Churches in the area.

Addresses will be delivered by Commissioner of Police Keith Miller, Director of the NCCP Dionne John, Members of the Commission, with the keynote address delivered by Supervisor of Elections and Former Principal of the Campden Park Secondary School Sylvia Findlay. There will also be cultural performances by the Police, Churches and schools within the area, the Police Drama Club, among others.
