The training forms part of the alumni phase, after completion of the six-month practical sessions which came to a close in November of 2010. The programme focussed on getting youths to learn life skills and employment skills utilising sports and other hands-on activities.

The business fundamentals workshop enabled participants to meet face-to-face and to explore the basics of business through a game, which allowed participants, grouped as families,to plan, buy, sell, rest, save, and meet financial commitments.

Facilitator for the session was Youth Officer Carlos Williams, who was trained by ECO Ventures and ECYMP in Barbados. A follow up session will be done with the group in October.
