Principal at the School Hyacinth Harry said that she was very grateful to Lewis and Western Union for the donation. Harry said: “Because of the economic situation of many of our students, the school has to purchase books for them when the ones from the Ministry of Education run out, so we are going to make very good use of these books and pencils.”

Harry added, “I hope as a good corporate citizen he will continue making these donations and I would like to thank Lewis very much for your interest in the academic development of these students.”

Lewis, who operates Foreign Brand Name Outlet, said that he always tries to do everything in his power to assist the youths.

“I know that education is the key to success, so anything I can do to assist with educating the children is worth it,” said Lewis.

This is the seventh year that Lewis is donating stationery to local schools. Last year, the beneficiaries of the stationery were the Lodge Village Primary School and the Kingstown Government School (Stoney Ground).

According to Lewis, he tries to give to different schools each year.
