The close of the program saw a number of participants being awarded with gift prizes and trophies.

The children also performed several skits, dance and songs as they entertained all who came out to witness what they had been doing over the summer.

Former Culture minister, Rene Baptiste, even pitched in and read stories to the children.

Co-ordinator of the program, Sean Frederick said the program is continuing to grow each year and the children are becoming more interested in learning their craft.

Frederick thanked members of his group for giving of their time to help with the children. He added that he is already looking forward to next year’s summer program.(KW)
