The son of Carlton and Cecilia Thomas of Campden Park, Jamandi told SEARCHLIGHT during an interview on Monday, August 22, 2011, that he thinks he could have done better in the examinations.

Jamandi gained five grade twos in Principles of Accounts, Principles of Business, English A, Social Studies and Agricultural Science. He gained four grade threes in Electronic Document Preparation Management, Office Administration, Mathematics and Geography.

He is of the opinion that he could have got a few more grade ones especially for subjects like Geography, Principles of Accounts and Principles of Business, as he was excellent in those subjects throughout his days at school.

Jamandi stated that he did sacrifice his daily pasttime of playing cricket and moved to his uncle’s home in Queen’s Drive when he was offered a quiet place to study.

He hopes to become an Accountant in the future, simply because he loves it. He also thanks God and his friends and family for their support. The second top CSEC student for the Bishops College was Dewitt John, who gained passes in 8 subjects.
