Every Friday, dubbed “Theme Fridays”, the full service telecommunications provider teams up with small businesses and service organizations as they assist them in pushing their brand and products.

Last Friday was the turn of the health enthusiasts as they flocked the LIME store to pay their bill, purchase a new product or just browsing as they got their blood pressure and blood sugar levels checked. Members of the nursing fraternity were in store as well as the brand Natural Beats as the company introduced their new product line of local snacks promoting healthy living.

Retail Sale Manager and organizer of “Theme Fridays” Nikala Williams said “Theme Fridays is all about fun and community awareness at work. The team is on board as we help to develop local business entrepreneurs and promote relationships with organizations within the communication. The Wii tournament is also an addition every Friday, where Wii enthusiasts come in store and compete for a Blackberry 9100. These competitors have to bring their A game since the prize is Big. This is another way LIME stays in touch with the youths and helps promote the further development of new businesses.”

This Friday will be cultural awareness day, and the Garifuna Association will be in store teaching about the language, the culture and heritage. The staff will don their Garifuna outfits, and the day will end with a cultural concert on the LIME promenade.
