Heading the list was Leader of the Opposition Arnhim Eustace’s question to Saboto Caesar, Minister of Tourism and Industry, about the payment of $75,000 by the St Vincent and the Grenadines Tourism Authority (SVGTA) to a Barbadian management company for the production of a promotional video.

Chief Executive Officer of the SVGTA Glen Beache at a press conference in July responded to the question put by Eustace back then, saying that the money was paid for the video. However, the management company subsequently replied indicating that they were paid $40,000 (US $15,000).

Questions on the fiscal performance continue to surface as the Leader of the Opposition was expected to ask the Prime Minister and Minister of Finance to present the fiscal outturn for the period to June 30, as compared to the corresponding period in 2010.

Meanwhile, Opposition Senator Anesia Baptiste was expected to follow up on questions to the Tourism Minister as to whether or not the SVGTA board of directors included in its business plan the use of the promotional video and whether or not the sum of money was approved.

Sixteen Bills were expected to have their first or second reading, with the select committee reports expected on the Architects Bill 2011, and the Representation of the People (Amendment) Bill 2011.
