The organization handed over the cheque and items during a short ceremony at the Red Cross Headquarters on Wednesday, August 3, 2011.

Presenting the items to the Red Cross, Dominic White of Thomas Browne Promotions said the funds were raised from a concert Soca Relief, held specifically to assist the people of Georgetown.

Accepting the cheque and the items, Director of Red Cross Bernard Marksman stated that he is grateful for the donation, adding that it is good to know that there are groups in St. Vincent which are making efforts to help the less fortunate. He added that he hopes that this donation will not be the last from the organization.

The Thomas Browne Organization wishes to thank its major sponsor Mr. Lewis of Kids Can Play and the other sponsors who collaborated with them on this venture. Soca Relief was also done in conjunction with Red Cross and the Gerogetown Development Committee.
