Sharpes man stabbed to death at Little Tokyo
Redemption Sharpes resident Basil Ellis is this countryâs latest victim of homicide.{{more}}
Ellis, 37, who worked as a labourer, was killed on August 6, 2011, following a dispute with another man in Kingstown.
According to a police press release, Ellis was at Little Tokyo awaiting a friend, when his attacker approached him and asked for the money he (Ellis) owed him.
The report said that the suspect was not satisfied with Ellisâ response and took out a knife and stabbed Ellis on the left side of his abdomen.
Ellis was taken to the Milton Cato Memorial Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Up until press time yesterday, no arrests had been made.
