Vincentian nabbed in Barbados drug bust

A Vincentian national was taken into custody in Barbados on Wednesday June 29 in an operation conducted by the Barbados Drug Squad.{{more}}

The operation, which was facilitated by elements of the Regional Security System (RSS), the Barbados Defence Force and the Barbados Coast Guard, commenced in the night of Tuesday June 28, 2011, and concluded about 5:30 am on Wednesday June 29, 2011.

24 taped packages of cannabis, weighing 1,370 lbs were seized and 2 Barbadians national and one Vincentian national were taken into custody to assist with the investigation.
