Two win VIP tickets for Fire Fete from Courts

Thanks to Courts St. Vincent Limited and their Facebook Carnival trivia campaign, two lucky persons, Loren Gun-Munro and Ro-Mershia DaSouza, won themselves VIP tickets for Fire Fete.{{more}}

The duo won the tickets on Wednesday after visiting Courts’ Facebook page, clicking ‘like’ on the page and answering the Carnival based question that popped up. The question was, “Who is the four time Junior Soca Monarch Winner?” The answer was Hance John.

Marketing Manager at Courts Alexis John said that apart from the Fire Fete Tickets won by DaSouza and Gun-Munro on Wednesday, today, Friday July 1, persons who log on to the Facebook page can win tickets to Soca Monarch and Miss Carival as well as costumes to play mas with either the Ahdrenalin Mas Band or SVG Players Mas Band.

He added that the promotion seeks to award persons who log on to Courts’ Facebook page. “We want to reward persons for liking our page, so just log on, click ‘like’, and a question will pop. Answer that question and you will be entered in a draw to win prizes”, said John.

He added that Courts wants persons to enjoy Carnival, “and by visiting our page we will reward you and help you enjoy our national festival”.

Commenting after winning the VIP Fire Fete ticket, DaSouza said: “I am feeling great because I did not know if I was going to Fire Fete, but when I got the call I decided I would go”. She described Courts as “great” while adding “It has great deals, so I encourage everyone to shop at Courts.”

Said Gun-Munro on Wednesday, “I am very excited because I have never won anything in my life. I was not sure if I was going, but now that I have a VIP ticket I will be going”.

Fire Fete was held last Wednesday at Carnival City Victoria Park and had as guest artistes Kes the Band and Iwer George.
