Today is the second day of an outreach programme being hosted by the International Airport Development Company (IADC) at Heritage Square in Kingstown.
At the opening ceremony yesterday, addresses were heard from Director of Special Projects Jerrol Thompson, Director of Tourism Vida Bernard, Minister of Culture Augustus Stevenson, Chairman and CEO of the IADC Dr. Rudy Matthias, and Deputy Prime Minister Girlyn Miguel, who presented the feature address.
Entertainment was provided by the Rose Hall Drummers and Zamfair Adams with his song âThe International Airportâ.
Persons wishing to contribute to the airportâs contributory fund may do so. Members of the IADC staff will be on hand to share information and answer questions. Persons visiting the IADCâs booth will be able to view videos of the terminal building, collect brochures and generally ask questions.
The event comes to an end this afternoon at 4:00 p.m.
