Guinness adorers to receive new iPod Touch
Twenty-eight lucky Guinness consumers across the Caribbean will receive the new and cutting edge Apple iPod Touch by displaying their adoration for the brand on Facebook.{{more}}
The first phase of the regional Facebook campaign began with a week-long Photo competition encouraging Guinness fans to share their most creative images with Guinness at the centre of the moment. Fans are then encouraged to gain as many votes or âlikesâ in order to win one of 28 brand new fourth generation iPod Touch.
The Guinness Caribbean Facebook page (www.facebook.com/GuinnessCaribbean) represents a single community where Guinness fans from 26 countries in the Caribbean can link-up and win great gifts.
With this promotion and other Facebook competitions, Guinness is achieving its goal of bringing Guinness Caribbean fans together. According to Guinness Regional Brand Manager Gareth Geddes, âThe ultimate vision is to unite Guinness adorers across the region and encouraging each person to share their great moments in a forum where similarities exist. We welcome people from the various islands and cultures who share a passion for the strong dark brew that is Guinness.â
The competition on Facebook will run throughout the month of June and features many interesting challenges.
