GHS donates $3,384 to G’town flood victims
After an impressive year of activities to mark its 100th year of existence, the St. Vincent Girlsâ High School is reaching out to flood victims in Georgetown.{{more}} This comes in the donation of $3,384.57. The money was collected at the schoolâs Centenary Ecumenical Service which was held on Sunday, May 8, 2011.
On Monday, May 23, 2011, at its weekly Assembly, the student body witnessed the presentation of the cheque to NEMOâs representative Barbara Charles. The cheque was handed over on behalf of the institution by Keniesha Webb, the youngest student on roll and the one who turned on the lights at the Centenary âLight upâ Ceremony.
