Vincentian nationals to attend Roundtable Policy Consultation in New York

Nationals of St. Vincent and the Grenadines are invited to attend a Roundtable Policy Consultation on Saturday, June 18, 2011, at The Friends of Crown Heights Educational Center, Inc., 671 Prospect Place, in Brooklyn, New York.{{more}}

The Consultation, which is organized by the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Consulate of New York, the St. Vincent and the Grenadines Diaspora Committee of New York, and The Council of St. Vincent and the Grenadines Organizations, USA (COSAGO,) will be conducted from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The objective of the Roundtable Policy Consultation is to discuss the theme, “Enhancing Unity and Building Partnerships among Vincentians in the Diaspora,” based on the following topics: Current methods used to achieve unity and build partnerships in our community successfully; What other opportunities exist for achieving unity and building partnerships; What are the challenges that prevent us from achieving unity and building partnerships; How do we strategically achieve unity and build partnerships in our community.

The Roundtable Policy Consultation presents an opportunity to reflect on how nationals can build a stronger unified community of Vincentians in the Diaspora.
