KPMG gives back to flood victims
Saturday, May 21, 2011, was another step on the road to recovery for the families residing at the Georgetown shelters who were displaced as a result of the heavy rain falls.{{more}} The staff at KPMG Eastern Caribbean St. Vincent office (KPMG) visited and made donations of school uniforms to the children from the primary to tertiary level.
On April 11, 2011, torrential rains and floods destroyed many homes in the North Windward side of the island, leaving residents without the basic essentials and disrupting their routine way of life.
Shelter manager Mrs. Davis expressed her gratitude to the firm for the assistance received and indicated that the contribution was well appreciated and will significantly impact the children in their greatest time of need.
