First Citizens sponsors Jazz on the Green at Emerald Valley Casino

First Citizens continues to show its commitment to the development of St. Vincent and the Grenadines as it recently sponsored the 2nd Annual Jazz on the Green at the Emerald Valley Casino at the level of Platinum sponsor.{{more}}

This sponsorship was valued at EC$40,000.00, via its subsidiary First Citizens Investment Services branch is based in St. Vincent. The successful event was headlined by Tia Fuller, saxophonist, composer, educator and member of the all-female band that toured with R & B star Beyoncé. Also featured were jazz stars such as jazz vocalist AJ Brown and pianist Dr. Kathy Brown, both of Jamaica, the Nicholas Brancker Group of Barbados, the operatic Marie Claire Giraud of Dominica, and Vincentians’ very own Impact Jazz Band.

All proceeds from the event are to be donated towards the rehabilitation efforts for the victims of the recent flooding.
