VINLEC to respond to customer survey results
Electricity consumers will have their concerns addressed when the St. Vincent Electricity Services (VINLEC) moves to respond to a customer service survey it commissioned.{{more}}
The Survey was conducted earlier this year as part of the companyâs efforts to better serve its customers. VINLEC continues to demonstrate its commitment to meet and exceed the needs of its customers, and according to CEO Thornley Myers, the study forms the basis from which this commitment will be accomplished.
As further demonstration of this commitment, the company changed its tariff structure earlier this year, eliminating the demand charge for commercial customers. This was a direct response to their concerns and apprehensions, as they felt burdened by this charge.
Now that the results of the Customer Service Survey are with the Company, Myers says that, over the coming months, VINLEC will use the results to respond and better serve its clients.
âAs a company we have been listening to our customers and on this occasion we felt that the survey was the best way to pool the views of our customers,â he noted.
The survey was conducted by an independent contractor.
