The team, which hails from the International Commission, will be hosted by the Glen Baptist Church. The delegation will arrive on Saturday, May 21, and will be in the state for five days. They are expected to leave on Thursday, May 26.
While in the state, Gray will visit Her Majestyâs Prison and will consult with the Local Bar Association. He will also lead seminars for men in Glen and Fair Hall.
The team, however, will conduct special outreach through the programme âOperation Andrewâ. Developed by the Billy Graham Association, the Operation Andrew programme draws its inspiration from John 1: 40-42 where Andrew heard about the Gospel of Christ and shared it with his brother Simon Peter, thus leading him to a relationship with Christ.
The teamâs outreach programme will take place on Monday, May 23 to Wednesday, May 25, 2011; with a special service at the Glen Baptist Church on Wednesday evening at 7 p.m. Gray will also be the featured speaker at church service slated for the Glen Baptist Church on Sunday, May 22, 2011.
Pastor of the Glen Baptist Church Sylvester King invites all to attend the special services as it is an opportunity to hear Grayâs story, a man who worked closely with Dr. Martin Luther King and also went to prison for his involvement in activism during the Civil Rights Movement.
It was in prison that Gray gave his live to God and became involved in Ministry and has told his story in many parts of the world.
Pastor King also said that is an opportunity for the church to reach out to persons in all levels of society to spread the gospel of Christ.
