In an age where broadband access is becoming common place, the telecommunications giant is advising its customers to “Think BIG” by signing up for 99 cents Broadband and pay just 99 cents in the first month. A fantastic package deal is also on offer for new residential fixed line customers who sign up and take broadband during this period. Customers will pay just $99, saving them $25 for the fixed line and broadband package.

Talking Big is what LIME does, and the communications provider is now backing their mouths with its TALK BIG deal for Vincy Mas. LIME customers signing up or upgrading their corporate affinity plan or SME affinity plan will get 50% discount on selected handsets. Additionally, prepaid phones can be bought at post-paid prices during this season plus 1 FREE Talk 247 card for good measure.

And when you just about to take a breather, the deals get sweeter. Dream BIG and you MUST HAVE a 99 cents Blackberry when you activate a New Post-paid plan.

LIME’s General Manager, Angus Steele, reaffirms “We have recently signed another three year contract as super platinum sponsor of St. Vincent & the Grenadines national premiere Festival. Our investment in this festival is in excess of EC$450k and is in keeping with one of the company’s 5C’s mandate to enhance the community in which we operate. We continue to prove that we are a true community partner by our work. This year promises to be full of innovations, all in an effort to better the Vincy Mas product. As we enter another year, we will be in partnerships with various local companies and organizations to assist us in making the festivities memorable and worthy of you wanting more. It will be another year and another partnership with Mas Bands, Artistes and many, many providers of services – all influencing Vincy Mas in one way or another.”

Included in their line-up of activities is sponsorship of Island Networks representing the LIME Vincy Soca Dans, which includes our very own Luta, Fireman Hooper, Jamsey P, Tabia, Danielle Veira and managed by Heric Horne. This year the “Soca Bards” have already created some excitement with smash hits like “LIQUER License, Party Time” and hit list goes on.

The biggest hit for the company this year is the sponsorship of a Monday advertising t-shirt band. The company will team up with the LIME Soca Dans, St.Vincent Distillers “SLR Rum” and Brydens and Partners featuring Stag and other interested partners to bring Vincentians the hottest Monday band on the road for Vincy Mas. On Carnival Tuesday LIME will display passion and brilliance as it partners with Blondie Bird and Friends and Mirage Mas bands with their Madri Gras presentations. LIME will also sponsor rural Carnivals in Georgetown, Mespo, South Rivers, South Leeward and Calliaqua.

Other activities for the season include, Live Streaming of carnival shows, weekly sales at Heritage Square & various communities where customers can win prizes and services. The grand prizes include EC$10k CASH plus prize trips to Crop Over and Spice Mas.

At the Miss SVG show on May 28th the company will be represented by contestant Ms Shenika Bascombe. Shenika will bear the name Miss LIME and is assured of the support of the entire LIME family as she vies for the coveted Ms SVG title.

LIME extends best wishes to the CDC and the people of St.Vincent and the Grenadines for a successful Carnival 2011.
