Unionites in Canada donate to UISS
The Union Island Secondary School, on May 3, received a barrel of supplies for its lower school Design and Technology programme.{{more}}
The supplies were procured from Unionites residing in Canada.
At the request of Ulric Hutchinson and Principal Godwin James, Jason Jones and other Unionites in Canada, the barrel was put together.
The supplies include among other things: fabric, paint brushes, block plane, screwdriver kit, electrical cords, thread, scissors and tailoring tape.
James, on behalf of the staff, students, parents and guardians, extended gratitude to Jones and all of the other Unionites in Canada who contributed to this venture.
He expressed his hope that this partnership would continue in the years ahead.
