The first edition of the half-hour programme was aired on SVGTv at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, May 3, with a repeat airing on Sunday at 7 p.m.

On the show, which is hosted by Georgette ‘Aunty G’ Nanton, patrons to the Sunsail Karaoke experience in Ratho Mill get to select those who they believe are the top performers of the night.

These persons are then featured on the television programme, where viewers to SVGTv will then select the best performer of the night by voting for their favorite on the show’s email: singingwiththestars@hotmail.com.

The show’s first airing featured Rockwell Kydd, singing Robbie Williams’ version of ‘Angels’, with Madonna Barbour singing ‘The Fool’, which was done by Leon Warmac.

Also making the final cut was Andrew Yearwood, who performed a cover of Kenney Rogers’ ‘She Believes In Me’, while Joanne Haynes performed ‘To Love Somebody’ by Michael Bolton and Calvin Mclean sang ‘Words’ by the Bee Gees.

The person with the most votes at the end of the week will receive a prize, compliments Sunsail Lounge, and one person who voted for the winning singer will also receive a prize.

The Sunsail Karaoke experience is hosted by Gideon James, with the music provided by Shadow Karaoke.
