GSS Young Leaders donate water in time of need
The Young Leadersâ theme âSAVE A DROP FOR TOMORROWâ has become a reality while the residents of Georgetown continue to cope with water shortage brought on by the disastrous flooding in the North East of the island.{{more}} Although their school has no pure drinking water, the students have reached out to donate three cases of water to the Georgetown Hospital and the Shelter at the Community Centre. President of the group Laureen Fraser did the official handing over to Nurse Lawrence at the hospital and the shelter supervisors. The students made the contribution in an effort also to assist some six students who are currently living at the shelter. The group endeavours to continue this effort and to assist other residents in Georgetown as repairs continue to quickly restore water to the Georgetown area.
