Last Sunday, 16 new converts were baptized and inducted into fellowship at the Mesopotamia Gospel Hall Assembly.
The candidates were prepared for water baptism by Pastors Adolphus Isaacs and Oswald Burke of the Assembly. Both Pastors also officiated at the ceremony which took place at the Baptistry within the Church building. A large congregation witnessed the proceedings and heard spontaneous testimonies from most of the candidates.
The ceremony climaxed in a festive mode, with a grand Vincy lunch, also known as âSwallowshipâ.
