Prison Fellowship to discuss future plans
Plans for this countryâs Prison Fellowship organizationâs upcoming charter and induction into the international body will be discussed this Wednesday, April 20.{{more}}
The discussions will take place at the New Testament Church of God, at Wilson Hill, beginning at 4:30pm.
The local body, which was launched in February this year, will be giving an update on the organizationâs work from August last year to present, fund raising activities, and the scheduled trip to Toronto, Canada, for participation in the Prison Fellowship International conference.
Current officials and members of the organization, persons currently involved in local prison ministry, business operators and representatives of civic organizations, among others, are invited to the meeting.
The Executive Committee of the organization reads Jonathan Pitt – Chairman, Carmalie Daniel – Vice Chairperson, Costian Cupid- Executive Director, Chieftain Charles – Assistant Secretary / Education Director, Ashakian Cupid – Secretary, Roxanne Westfield – Treasurer, Rechanne Browne Matthias – Legal Advisor, with Martin Forlan, Adolphus McDowall, Teron James, and Joseph Bracken – Committee Members.
