The Church, which was pioneered by Pastor Uris Archibald and his wife Sarah, saw humble beginnings in April 1986 in their home at Prospect. After outgrowing that location, they moved to the Union House in Kingstown, then back to Prospect, and then to the Town Hall in Calliaqua. Today, Christian Life Ministries is blessed with its own four hundred seat multi-purpose facility at Glen, which was dedicated in 2006.
Quoting our present Pastor, âAll praise and thanks must be given to God, first for a building that is debt free, and for His faithfulness in every area of our lives.â
According to Pastor Uris Archibald, âThere were trying times, challenges, and even opposition from some sectors of the religious community.â
In 2003, Pastor Uris Archibald migrated to Canada, and in 2004 the church welcomed Pastor Colin Smith and Family from the Mother church, Godâs Battalion of Prayer Church in Brooklyn, New York.
Pastor Smith, armed with vision from God in hand, set out to build the facility at Glen that currently houses the church. The vision of C.L.M, âBuilding Lives for the Expansion of Godâs Kingdomâ, has also been practised, since close to 100 persons have been baptized, many couples married, lives delivered, and souls discipled to function effectively in The Army of Jesus Christ.
In recent years, CLM has partnered with other elements of The Body of Christ in St Vincent, St. Lucia, Jamaica, Guyana, United States, and Germany to strengthen The Church and evangelize the lost. Christian Life Ministries is committed to the sole purpose of facilitating the expansion of The Kingdom of God.
The 25th anniversary service and ordination begins at 3.30pm on Easter Sunday and continues during the week 25th-28th April, at 7pm, with evangelistic meetings at the Fairhall Primary School grounds.
