SVG developing new postal sector policy
The Ministry of National Reconciliation, Public Service, Information, Labour and Ecclesiastical Affairs is developing a postal sector policy for St. Vincent and the Grenadines.{{more}}
The postal sector is a key information medium that contributes to both economic development and social empowerment.
Two symposiums on the development of this policy will be hosted by the Ministry today and will run until Thursday, April 14, 2011, where a broad range of postal stakeholders will be engaged in discussion with three international postal experts to determine the future of the postal services in St. Vincent and the Grenadines.
The first symposium will be attended by Government stakeholders and will be held today at the Methodist Church Hall, from 9:00 am.
The second symposium will be attended by stakeholders from the general public and will be held on Thursday, April 14, 2011, at the SVG National Insurance Conference Room, from 9:30 a.m.
