Digicel treats customers to an evening of wine and cheese
In celebration of its eighth anniversary, telecommunications provider Digicel held a customer appreciation day on Thursday, March 24, at their main office, located in the Lewis Building, James Street.{{more}}
In the morning, customers were treated to snacks, while in the evening, wine and cheese were served to customers who were also treated to gifts from the telecommunications giant. Give-aways included, among other things, free credit, discounts on post-paid bill balances and half price on Blackberry handsets.
Julieanne Chance said that she has been with the company for the last eight years. She said that, so far, she has âno problems with the service and I think it is very goodâ. Chance who visited the office on Thursday said that she is a pre-paid customer who is thankful to Digicel for allowing her to own a handset.
Another customer, Phillip James, who works at the Central Water and Sewage Authority (CWSA), said that he hopes that Digicel continues to provide good service to Vincentians. He said that with the introduction of Digicel into the local telecommunications arena, âthings were made much better.â
Ena Richardson, who hails from Richland Park, described Digicel as âreliable and customer friendly.â She said that she has been with the company since it opened its doors here and, âI am looking forward to more positive things from Digicel and I would like to wish them a happy anniversary.â
Businessman and Chief Executive Officer of Bally and Bally Investment Limited Cameron âDinkyâ Balcombe said that he is proud to be a Digicel customer, as they always try their best to give a good service. He said that he is glad the company came to St. Vincent and the Grenadines, as with the introduction of the company, Vincentians were provided with a better and more affordable service.
