On Tuesday, March 15, Joel Poyer, Vice-President and Janice McMaster, Secretary of the Kingstown Preparatory School PTA, handed over a quantity of learning resource materials, a public address system and a projector to the school.

Acting Head Teacher Carol Ross expressed deep appreciation for the partnership and the PTA’s continued involvement in the life of the school. The projector was received by Gerard McLean, IT teacher; Gaylene Wickham, Literacy Co-ordinator, received the learning resource materials and Anthony Samuel received the public address system on behalf of the school.

The items cost over $9, 000.

At the handing over ceremony, Ross assured the audience that the items will enhance learning and other activities at the school.

A parent, Archdeacon Thomas, blessed the items, while Grade 6 student José Ann Carrington gave the vote of thanks.
