Jems to hold planning retreat

JEMS Progressive Community Organization will hold a planning retreat from 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. on Saturday, February 5, at the Enhams Community Centre.{{more}}

The retreat agenda includes a review of the organization’s purpose and goals, identification of employment and other opportunities for members, a formulation of organizational strategies for 2011, project planning relative to environmental initiatives and HIV/AIDS prevention, and the development of an annual calendar.

JEMS members and prospective members, and JEMS Youth Ambassadors for Positive Living are encouraged to attend.

Established in 1978, JEMS Progressive Community Organization is a grassroots community development and environmental management organization serving 15 communities in the Southeast sector of mainland St. Vincent.
