SDA donates to five charitable institutions
On Tuesday, January 04, 2011, the Seventh-day Adventist Church presented food items valued at EC$2,000 to five charitable institutions, namely Louis Punnett Home, School for Children with Special Needs, St. Benedictâs Day Nursery and Childrenâs Home, and the National Society of and for the Blind.{{more}}
These food items were collected from the general public during the WE CAN concert at Heritage Square, sponsored by the National Youth Association of the church.
A cheque was also presented by Pastor Dermoth Baptiste to Sister Nyra Anne Pajotte to aid in the construction of the St. Benedictâs Childrenâs home. The Seventh-day Adventist church in its holistic ministry caters for the spiritual, mental, social and physical development of the human personality.
The church wishes to thank the general public for supporting such humanitarian efforts.
