Medcare reaches out to homeless at Christmas

For the fifth consecutive year, Sister Medford of Medcare has reached out to the homeless in Kingstown.{{more}}

At 12.00 a.m. on Christmas day all the homeless were treated to a hot meal, a hot drink and clothes.

A release from Medcare stated: “The number of homeless persons has been on a steady increase annually and we appeal to all to remember they are a part of our society and let us work hand in hand to improve their quality of life.”
