âSt. Vincent is going to have a weak government and weak opposition. The ULP team is weak because they do not even have a specialist in finance. We live in an age of financial management,â OâNeal told SEARCHLIGHT on Wednesday.
OâNealâs comments came two days after the ULP secured their third consecutive term in office with a majority eight to seven win.
OâNeal went on to say: âThe Prime Minister is not a university graduate in finance, neither is deputy prime minister, Girlyn Miguel. I really donât know where we are going. I donât see progress under the ULP government.â
OâNeal said that his party will continue to fight and vowed not to âlink upâ with the NDP or ULP. (KW)
