Last Friday evening, young independent-minded individuals turned up at Xcape restaurant and lounge to be a part of the promotion, which enables young persons between the age of 18 and 25 years, to be able to acquire their own furniture and fixtures from Courts.
Persons who sign up will be eligible for special discounts and deals through the promotion, including lower interest rates, preapproved spending limits and a choice of repayment period and protection plans, among others.
Senior Operations Manager at Courts Elwyn Phillips, in educating those in attendance about the programme, said that young people will now have an opportunity through Courts to move closer to fulfilling their dreams of owning the things they need.
He said that the programme among other things, offers the youths the opportunity to build their credit score, so that they can be able to get loans and credit from other institutions in the near future.
And, as expected, patrons at the launch were rewarded for just being at the function, receiving gifts emblazoned with the iFinance logo, as a reminder and motivation to sign up.
Prizes were also awarded to others: the best iFinance dance on the night went to Nigel Browne, who received an Apple Ipod. The best dressed invited male was Tshani Alexander, who won a Samsung handset compliments Digicel. Mikalla Knights, the best dressed invited female, won a Blackberry handset also compliments Digicel, and the best dressed Courts female employee was Arusha Gordon; she won a $400 grocery voucher.
Courts Marketing Executive Alexis John indicated that more is in store for persons who sign up for the iFinance programme, and those who make Courts their stop for the best in name brand and quality furniture and appliances.
