Five to vie for the Miss UISS Heritage title
The Union Island Secondary School (UISS) will tommorow evening hold a Miss UISS Heritage show.{{more}}
The show, which is being put on by the English, Modern Languages and Co-Curricula Department, as well as the Social Sciences Department of the school, in collaboration with the PTA, was previously slated for June 26, but had to be postponed owing to unforseen circumstances.
The show will take place at the schoolâs auditorium from 7 p.m, and five girls will complete for the title of Miss UISS Heritage 2010. They are: Showneth Sutherland of Form 5I; Khadijah Williams of Form 3G2; Rocheel Diamond of Form 5G2; Helen Harry of Form 5G2 and Molica Mulzac of Form 5I. They will compete in three categories: evening wear, cultural wear, and an interview segment.
The public is invited to come out and support the young ladies, as the funds from the show will go towards the establishment of an audio visual room at the school. The school wishes to thank all of the persons who have provided sponsorship for the show.
