The service was held at the Arnos Vale Sporting Complex under the theme: “Rekindle our Christian Fellowship O’ God – For the Missionary Journey.”

The celebrant at the service was Bishop of the Diocese of the Windward Islands The Right Reverend C. Leopold Friday, with Phillip Johanson, the International Secretary of the Church Army International being the guest preacher.

The Bishop led the faithful in the reaffirmation of Baptismal Promises, as the service was held on the first Sunday in Advent, the beginning of the Church’s year.

Church members from different parishes around the country offered prayers for the Unity of the Church, Ministry and Stewardship, the Nation, Youth, Education, Family Life, Organizations, Christian Vocation, the Sick and Suffering and for Thanksgiving.

Bishop Friday announced at the end of the service that Canon Christian Glasgow is now Archdeacon of Grenada and Father Clive Thomas is the Archdeacon of St. Vincent.
