Courts offers debt redemption programme to customers

Customers of Furniture and Appliance store Courts who suffered loss of their product or products, purchased on the store’s special credit plans, can benefit from a debt redemption programme.{{more}}

According to Courts Marketing Executive Alexis John, persons who purchased items on the Silver, Gold or Ultimate Credit Plans can make use of the damage protection benefit offered under these plans.

Under the damage protection benefit, the customer can have all outstanding payments on the product cleared, if the product had been destroyed by flood, fire or storm.

The most recent storm is Hurricane Tomas, which struck St. Vincent and the Grenadines on Saturday, October 30, 2010.

John indicated, however, that the relevant accounts must be up to date.

“Our credit facility is designed to meet our customers’ needs. We are cognizant that our customers will be affected by unforseen events, hence the reason we have such an offer in place that offers total peace of mind after purchasing an item from Courts.”

“All you have to do is come to us and fill out an insurance claim,” John noted.

“We will have our field officers sent out to verify the claim, and once everything is okay, the debt will be wiped clean.”

John also indicated that the customers on the Ultimate Credit Plan will also receive vouchers valued up to 25 per cent of the cash price of the product when it is purchased.

He said that this will be an incentive to the customer to replace the damaged item if they choose to.

John said that the damage protection plan is just one of the many benefits to be derived when shopping at Courts under those three of the four credit plans.
