As part of activities to celebrate the companyâs first five-star anniversary, the staff of the local store joined others across the region in a week of activities, aimed at building the bond among staff members.
The activities began with a church service at the Triumph Covenant Church in Kingstown.
The celebrations climaxed with a Wacky Hat Day, when staff adorned their heads with unusual headpieces for the entertainment of themselves and also their valued customers.
Friday also saw the staging of the peopleâs choice awards, karaoke and a staff get together.
Other events that took place through the week included âDirection Dazeâ, the issuing of scratch cards to staff members, and games such as Guess Who and Five-Star Jeopardy.
Staff were also encouraged to smile regularly at each other, and photos of smiling employees were posted daily around the store.
Credit Arrears Supervisor Nadine Davis, a member of this countryâs organizing committee, said that the week of activities was held to boost the morale of Courtsâ staff members.
She said that it is hoped that the activities and events will spill over to the staffâs interaction with customers.
âThis is a way of reminding ourselves of the way we Courts employees are supposed to be living everyday; it is a form of us living the Courts Culture.â (JJ)
